Mr. Charles Ray Waters, 80, of Wilkesboro, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2017.
Charles was born on Saturday, February 13, 1937 to Fred Quinton Waters and Ila Alberta Church Waters in Hartford Maryland.
Charles enjoyed drawing and designing for companies such as Boeing, U.S.S. Enterprize and McDonald Douglas of St. Louis.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Chelmer Dean Waters and great grand son, Nolan Quin White.
Charles is survived by: his wife of 57 years, Mary Gurney Waters; daughters, Victoria Lynne White of the home, Rene Annette Waters Eller and husband, Mark of Millers Creek; son, Charles (Chuck) Ray Waters Jr of the home, sister, Remona Schaufenbuel and husband Jerry of Elkin, four grandchildren, Cody White, Catie White, Kristy Megan Eller, Daniel Eller; four great grandchildren, Gabiel Wyatt, Owen Wyatt, Colan White and Gaven White.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Genteva: 126 Executive Drive Wilkesboro, NC 28654.
