Mr. Clint Morton, 49, of Duck Hollow Lane, Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, December 3, 2018 in Ainsworth, Nebraska.
Mr. Morton was born May 5, 1969 in Iredell County, the son of Hubert Clinton Morton, II and Penny Isenhour Moore.
He had an associate’s degree from Catawba Valley Technical College in Automation Robotics Technology and Electronic Engineering Technology. He worked in sales and was a member of Front Street Baptist Church in Statesville. He was a member of Iredell County Gun Club and a member of NRA. He loved his wife dearly and was a family man, who enjoyed doing activities with them. He loved and enjoyed his friends and co-workers. Clint enjoyed riding motorcycles, shooting his guns and going to Oak Island. He loved his dogs, Baby, Kizzy, Jules and Savage.
Including his parents, those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his wife of 29 years, Lois Morton of the home; a daughter, Leah Morton of Boone; a son, Samuel Morton of Hickory; a sister, Wendy Millar and husband, Doug, and nephew, Jeremy, of York, SC; a special great-niece, Kayla Neader.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Front Street Baptist Church, 1403 West Front Street, Statesville, NC 28677. Rev. Tim Stutts will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. prior to the service.
