Joel Frank Dishmond, 25, of Clearview Lane in Taylorsville passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Joel was born on September 9, 1987 to Noel Scott Dishmond of Union Grove, NC and Jamie Ellen Poore Dishmond of Taylorsville.
Joel Frank Dishmond had served in the US army and had been employed at Mitchell Gold. In addition to his parents, Joel is survived by his brother, Roger Dishmond of Stony Point.
A grave-side service honoring the life of Joel Frank Dishmond will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Friendly Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Statesville with the Rev. Sam Jordan officiating. Interment will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Adams Funeral Home, P.O. Box 937, Taylorsville, NC 28681 to help defray the cost of the funeral arrangements. Those wishing to leave online condolences may do so at www.adamsfunerals.com.
