Joyce Marie (Pierce) Hicks (Wilkes)

Mrs. Joyce Marie Pierce Hicks, 67, of North Wilkesboro, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017.

Joyce was born on Wednesday, January 3, 1951 in Jefferson County, PA to William Henry Pierce and Helen Marie Smith Pierce.

Joyce is preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Ronald Lee Pierce and Thomas Eugene Pierce.

Joyce is survived by: her husband, Jody Hicks; sisters, Julie Summerline and husband, Eugene, of North Wilkesboro; brothers, William Henry Pierce, Jr. and wife, Pam, of Knoxdale, PA, Joseph L. Pierce and wife, Minnie, of New Bethlehem, PA; sons, David Hicks and Hampy Hicks, both of War, WV; daughters, Judy Riffe of McDowell, WV, Crystal Riffe of War, WV and seven grandchildren and many great nieces and nephews. 

Memorial service will be held August 10, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel. Mr. Eric Tilghman will be officiating.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to: Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes to help with final expenses.
