Mr. Michael Edward Vaughn, 63, of North Wilkesboro, passed away on Thursday July 20, 2017.
Michael was born on Wednesday, March 2, 1954 in Greenville, South Carolina to John Henry Vaughn and Dorothy Lee Christie Vaughn.
Michael enjoyed learning new things, watching Documentaries, fishing, but above all he loved his family.
Michael is preceded in death by: his parents; son, Michael Royster; brother, Robert Vaughn and sister, Linda Campbell.
Michael is survived by: his wife, Cynthia McCluney Vaughn of the home; daughters, Alison Atwood and husband, Nathan, of North Wilkesboro, Erica Harler and husband, Scott, of North Wilkesboro; brother, Charles Vaughn of Charlotte; sister, Nancy Lovelace and husband, Tim, of Jacksonville, Florida; eight grandchildren, Tristen Vaughn, Abby Harler, Brendan Harler, Madison Harler, Ethan Atwood, Bethany Atwood, Camila Atwood and Gabriel Atwood.
The memorial service will be held Monday, July 24, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel. Rev Nathan Atwood will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to: Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes for memorial funds.
