Pauline (Royal) Pollard (Wilkes)

Mrs. Pauline Royal Pollard, 78, of Crumpler, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Pollard was born Thursday, December 15, 1938 to the late Chal Blaine and Fronie Cooper Royal in Ashe County. Pauline was a member of Scottsville Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and flowers. She was married to the late James Lee Pollard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, James Lee Pollard; brothers, Bill and Reed Royal.

Those left to cherish her memory include: sons, Bobby Lee Pollard and wife, Joeann, of Jefferson, Robert Dale Pollard and wife, Kathy, of Sparta, Phillip Dean Pollard and wife, Judy, of Lansing; a sister, Mae Cearley of Statesville; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Scottsville Baptist Church in Laural Springs. Rev. Chris Cox will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Scottsville Baptist Church, prior to the service.
