Mrs. Sandra Land Fulton, 61, of Little Spring Road, Taylorsville, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, April 17, 2017 at her residence. She went peacefully with husband, Donovan and with two of her three sons, Jason and Shawn by her side.
Mrs. Fulton was born May 31, 1955 in Alexander County, the daughter of the late William “Bill” Azor Land and Katie Montgomery Land.
Sandra fought a yearlong hard battle with cancer to the very end. She impacted so many people in her life. She had an unconditional love for her family especially her two grandsons. We know she is looking down on us from heaven right now. Sandra was an amazing mother, wife, grandmother, friend and sibling. She will be greatly missed.
She had worked an oral surgeon assistant and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church. She really enjoyed crafts, decorating for weddings and parties. She was an avid antique collector.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Jan Smith and a brother, Roger Pennell.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband, Donovan Franklin Fulton of the home; three sons, Jason Alling of Gastonia, Donovan Jason Fulton of Little Rock, AK, Shawn Alling and wife, Danielle of Charlotte; two grandsons, Joshua Ronel Alling and Caleb Mason Alling both of Gastonia; her brothers, Jimmy Land and wife, Alice; Alan Fox and wife, Raquel, Charles Fox; her sisters, Pat Belk, Jacque Hollar and husband, Jerry, Victoria White, Carolyn Rufty and husband, Tim, and Phyllis Williams.
The family will have a memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church. Rev. Mike Stone will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
