Mary Lou Bowman Isom Stilley, 69 of Hill Farm Road, Stony Point, died Friday, July 2, 2010 at Valley Nursing Center. She was born in Galax, Virginia, March 22, 1941 daughter of the late Ben and Maggie Caudill Bowman.
  She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Taylorsville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Stilley, and a brother Jim Bowman.
  Survivors include a daughter Ella Carrigan and husband Rev. Scott Carrigan of Stony Point; three sons Howard Isom, and Steve Isom of Taylorsville and Bryan Wooten of Baltimore Maryland; two sisters Nancy Taylor of Kingsport TN., and Opal Fleanor of Peoria Illinois; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 5, 2010 at 4 pm at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Stephen Dagenhart will officiate. Burial will follow in the Taylorsville Cemetery. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Adams Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 until 8 pm.
  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Calvary Baptist Church, 191 Airport Road, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
