Janie Faye Oswalt, 61, a resident of Brian Center in Viewmont, formerly of Taylorsville went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 12, 2010 at Brian Center in Viewmont.
She was born January 24, 1949 in Bolivar County, Mississippi to the late Clarence Brantley Ostwalt and Ethel King Oswalt.  She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
a sister, Agnes Chadwick and a brother, Eugene Oswalt.
Survivors include five sisters, Kathleen Humble of Mississippi, Ann Hubbard, Shirley Whaley, Patricia Oswalt and Bobbie Pennell all of Taylorsville; four brothers, Cecil Oswalt of Tennessee, Louis Oswalt of Texas, L. D. Oswalt and Buford Oswalt both of Mississippi and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Friendly Baptist Church cemetery by the Rev. Alan Fox.
