Robert “Bob” William Hall, of Community Road, Purlear, died Tuesday, July 12, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  He was born November 17, 1948 in Wilkes County to Tolbert Hall, Sr. and Elma Hanks Hall.  He was preceded in death by his two infant daughters, Bobbie Rebecca Hall and Cindy Jean Hall; his father; two brothers, Thomas Marshall Hall and Tolbert Hall, Jr.

Survivors include: his wife, Vallie Hash Hall of the home; three daughters, Judy Hall Greene of Chicopee, MA, Gaithina Hall Nichols of Lenoir, Valerie Lynn Hubbard  and husband Kevin of Duffield, VA; his mother of North Wilkesboro; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 o’clock Thursday at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel with Rev. Brady Hayworth and Rev. Ronnie Cole officiating.  The family will receive friends at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes from 1:00 until 2:00 o’clock on Thursday prior to the service.
