Helen Voneta Scott Rudd, 79, of Hacketts Road, Millers Creek, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. She was born October 26, 1930 in Pocahontas, West Virginia to Clarence and Retha Allen Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Rudd; her parents; two sisters; two brothers.
Survivors include: four daughters, Rosalee Bobbitt and husband Jerry Dean, Connie Caudill, Christinia Rudd all of Millers Creek, Kathey Sizemore and husband Jackie of Hays; one son Bobby Rudd of Bel Air, MD; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. The family will receive friends at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes from 6:00 until 8:00 o'clock Thursday night.

To Bobby, Ginny and the rest of the family, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I pray God will give you comfort in this time. I worked with your mother at 2 different places, and we always found something to laugh about. She was a lot of fun to work with. May God Bless You All!
