Terry Delane McNeil, 74, of Devonshire Street, Winston Salem, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Silas Creek Manor in Winston Salem. He was born June 5, 1936 in Wilkes County to Rev. James Roby and Addie Triplett McNeil. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wade Lee McNeil and James William McNeil.
Survivors include: three sisters, Linda Absher, Brenda Welch and husband D.L., Edna Tharpe and husband S.D. all of North Wilkesboro; one brother, Earl McNeil and wife Dorcas of Wilkesboro.
Graveside services will be 10:00 o'clock Wednesday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Blevins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

I had the pleasure of taking care of Mr. McNeil when he was at Baptist Hospital on 10 Ardmore East. I was his NA several times, he was my buddy. My name is Tonya, but to him for some reason he called me "Toyota", which was fine, it always made me laugh. I enjoyed taking care of him, and am saddened to hear of his passing. I will have his family in my prayers and he will be missed.
