Leonidas Lex Southers, infant son of Chad Aaron Southers and Glenda Kay Faughnan of Old Charlotte Road Taylorsville died at birth on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

 In addition to his parents he was survived by maternal grandparents Larry and Nancy Dishman of Statesville, sisters Maia Southers of Taylorsville, Mikayla Faughnan  and Haleigh Faughnan both of Virginia; brother Knoahe Faughnan of Virginia; paternal great grandmother Ruby Prichard of Taylorsville. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Glenn and Barbara Southers.

 Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. J.C. Parks will officiate. Burial will follow in the Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Adams Funeral Home on Monday from 6 until 7 pm.
