Bobby Rex Dillard, 72, of Windy Street, North Wilkesboro, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at his home. He was born March 14, 1937 in Wilkes County to Dean Elledge and Ada Dillard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Dillard; three half sisters, Ruby Adams, Betty Souther, Diane Mason.

 

Survivors include: his wife, Alma Royal Dillard of the home; one son, Randy Dillard and wife Elizabeth of Roaring River; five half sisters, Marlene Harrold, Joyce Golds, Sandra Shumate, Barbara Massengill, Rita Brown; eight half brothers, Ralph Elledge, Steve Elledge, Bruce Elledge, Neil Elledge, Terry Souther, Douglas Souther, Carlin Souther, David Souther; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes with Rev. Kent Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in North Wilkesboro. The family will receive friends at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes from 12:30 until 1:30 on Tuesday prior to the service.
