            Mildred Louise Combs Parker, 86, of Daniels Lumber Road, Taylorsville, formerly of Moravian Falls died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
            She was born June 3, 1923 in Wilkes County to the late Roy Swain Combs and Alice Chambers Combs. She was a member of Lewis Baptist Church in Wilkes County and was a retired furniture worker.
            In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Parker and a sister, Sarah Dean Pendergrass.
            Survivors include two daughters, Betty Barnes and husband, Gaither of Taylorsville and Linda Fox and husband, Ralph of Taylorsville; two sons, Jerry Parker and wife, Robbin of Moravian Falls and Ricky Parker and friend, Nancy Hefner of Conover; a sister, Nancy Combs Lunsford of Union Grove, NC; six grandchildren, Tammy Marlowe and husband, Keith, Jeffrey Barnes and wife, Rita, Bradley Fox, Wesley Fox and wife, Bridgette, Jeremy Parker and wife, Amanda and Crystal Hammond; twelve great-grandchildren, Anthony, Megan and Bria Marlowe, Candance Heffinger and husband, Brandon, Kristin and Kelsey Barnes, Sydney and Lane Fox, Corban and Cainan Parker, Abbi and Owen Hammond and two nieces and two nephews.
            The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010 at Lewis Baptist Church by the Revs. Bruce Rhoades, Amos Combs and Mitch King. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
            The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Adams Funeral Home in Taylorsville
