Howard Odell Cleary, 65, of Newport Lane, Hays, died Friday, January 29, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born February 19, 1944 in Wilkes County to Lonnie and Rosie Lee Brown Cleary. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lois Anders.

 

Survivors include: three sisters, Joyce Wood and husband James of Illinois, Lena Dabbs and husband Kenneth of Missouri, Betty Stewart and husband Robert of Hays; five brothers, Junior Cleary, Calvin Cleary and wife Oma Jean , Johnny Cleary and wife Pamela , J.C. Cleary all of North Wilkesboro; William Monroe Cleary and wife Ruby of Millers Creek.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 o’clock Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel with Rev. Danny Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes from 1:00 until 2:00 o’clock on Wednesday prior to the service.

 

The family has requested no food.
