Mr. Ben Franklin Johnson, Sr., 72, of Traphill, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

Ben was born March 3, 1945 in Wilkes County to Bennie Johnson and Nora Brooks Johnson.

Ben is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Pearl Hussy and MaryLee Hyder.

Those left to carry on Ben’s memory are his wife of 53 years, Annie Sue Johnson; daughters, Lois Ann Icenhour (Duane), Crystal Johnson (Billy), Natasha Triplett ( Zack); son, Ben Franklin Johnson, Jr. (Kim); brothers, Louis “Jr” Johnson (Sarah), R.C. Johnson, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel in Moravian Falls. Pastor Charles Younce, Pastor Paul Siceloff and Pastor Michael Johnson will be officiating.

Visitation will be held 2:00-2:45 prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery in the Traphill community.
