Betty Jane Cannon

            Ms. Betty Jane Cannon, 71, of North Duncan Hill Lane, Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Carolina Caring in Newton.

            Betty was born June 18, 1948 in Iredell County, the daughter of the late John Annas and Junnie Estes Annas.

            She was a nurse and had worked at local hospitals and nursing homes. She was of the Church of God faith.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: an infant son; a grandson, Matthew Weinrich; three sisters, Doris McNeely, Margie Annas, Joanne Lingle; a brother, Maynard Annas.

            Those left to cherish her memory include: a daughter, Emma Suzette Johnson of Lincolnton; two sons, James Johnson of Lincolnton, William Cannon and fiancé, DeAnna Cannon, of Bethlehem Community; two grandsons, Ahren Weinrich, Caeson Cannon; great-grandson, Skyler Weinrich.            

            The family will do a memorial service at a later date.
