Cindy (Kirkland) Shuffler

            Mrs. Cindy Kirkland Shuffler, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at North East Medical Center in Concord.

            Cindy was born December 30, 1957 in Washington Parrish, LA, the daughter of the late Joseph Dalton Kirkland and Hershel Victoria Provost Kirkland.

            She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith, one who loved the Lord. She was an amazing artist and cook and also a very loving wife.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Gordon B. Shuffler; three of her five loving sisters.

            Those left to cherish her memory include: three daughters, Crystal Albea of Hiddenite, Candy Averitt and husband, Les, of York, SC, Casey Massey and husband, Dino, of Oakboro, NC; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Kirkland Anderson of Carriere, MS, Patsy Hemphill Benson of Mobile, AL.

            The family will conduct a memorial service at Noon, Friday, August 2, 2019 at East Taylorsville Baptist Church. Pastor’s Jaime Steele, Mark Marshall, Ralph Shuffler will officiate.
