JB Sellers (Wilkes)

Mr. JB Sellers, 93, of Ferguson, passed away on Saturday August 11, 2018.

JB was born on May 22, 1925 in Gaston County to Beverly Blaine Sellers and Mary Lottie Abernethy.

J.B is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Hawkins Sellers; son, Stephen Sellers and sister, Patty Sellers.

JB is survived by three grandchildren, Philip Sellers, Brandon Sellers, Shane Sellers and great grandson Chandler Sellers.

JB was a member of Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church; he served his church in many ways during his life. He was a dedicated father and grandfather. He was a WWII Veteran in the Army Air Forces. JB was an avid golfer and baseball player and loved being outdoors.  JB was a beloved neighbor and friend who was always eager to help those in need.

JB was a member of the 715 Derita Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shrine Oasis and Cowan’s Ford Golf Club.

Per JB’s request no Services are planned.
