Jo Ann (Austin) Bartlett

Mrs. Jo Ann Austin Bartlett, 75, of Main Avenue NW, Hickory, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice.

Mrs. Bartlett was born April 30, 1942 in Alexander County, the daughter of the late John Austin and Wilma Milstead Austin.

She had worked in the textile industry before becoming disabled and was a member of Longview Church of God in Hickory.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: two sons.

Those left to cherish her memory include: a daughter; a son; two grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Austin Childers of Taylorsville and Reanette Connell of Orange, CA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel followed by a graveside prayer service at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Catawba County.
