Mr. John Michael Pegram, 74, of Millers Creek, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Avante Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Wilkesboro.
Mr. Pegram was born on Monday, February 15, 1943 in Iredell County to the late Robert Clarence Pegram Sr. and Suma Mae Webster Pegram.
He was a member of Millers Creek Baptist Church.
John enjoyed racing, spending time with family and friends. He worked at Wilkes Regional Hospital and Harris Teeter in customer service for many years.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: an infant sister.
Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife of 38 years, Marian Sebastian Pegram of the home; daughter, Melody Dawn Pegram of Millers Creek; son, Joseph (Jennifer) Michael Pegram of Millers Creek; sister, Carol (Gene) Billings of Clemmons; brothers, Robert (Sandy) Clarence Pegram Jr. of Maryland and William Effner Pegram of Black Mountain; grandson, Lucas Derrick Pegram of Durham; and special uncle, Bowman Webster of Florida.
The family is to conduct a private memorial service at a later date.
