Lola Johnson (Wilkes) Obituary
Mrs. Lola Jean Weaver Johnson, 85, of Wilkesboro, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Westwood Hills Nursing Facility.
Lola was born on September 29, 1933 in Grayson, Virginia to Sherman Weaver and Lizzie Perkins Weaver.
Lola is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben Harrison Johnson; brothers, Ernest Weaver, Ray Weaver, Breece Weaver; sisters, Vergie Medley and Ressie Wheeling.
Lola is survived by her sons, Johnny Johnson (Katherine) of Wilkesboro, Leslie Johnson (Sharon) of Roaring River and granddaughter, Stacy Johnson of Wilkesboro.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 1:00-1:45 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel at 2109 Moravian Falls Rd. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the funeral at Mountain Park Cemetery in Wilkesboro. Rev. Terry Call will be officiating.
