Lula Mae and my mom, Ruth Gant Baker, were great friends and kept in touch over the years. I'm sure that they are probably carrying on some of the antics that they did during school or playing cards in heaven. She was a beautiful lady! My prayers are with the family.

May our LORD Bless and keep you Lula. I worked for Chief Cyril in 50s and 60s. Good family.

We went to Business School in 1946 and 1947 in Hickory. We were good friends and enjoyed the time we shared together. She and her friend stayed in Hickory during the school week, often times I would drive them home to Taylorsville Saturday morning. I came to Texas in 1948 and lost touch with Lula Mae but I have never forgotten her. I feel a sense of loss in her passing! My prayers and HIS GRACE are for the family during this difficult time.

My heartfelt condolences during your time of bereavement. Many can relate to what it feels like to be touched by death. What has helped my family to cope were scriptures such as John 5:28,29; Revelation 21:3,4; 1 Peter 5:7. Reading and thinking on these scriptures can help to bring you comfort and strength in the weeks and months to come. Knowing that your loving heavenly Father understands and cares about what you're going through at this time can be a real source of strength and comfort.

Lula Mae has been a very special LADY (and a lady she was) to me for many years. I was very blessed to be invited into one of the Rook clubs in which she belong to. I will always remember her as sweet, compassionate and fun loving lady. She seem to always have the right words to cheer you. Praying for your family.

Dear Hammer Family, I was sorry to learn that Lula Mae passed but I also know you enjoyed
your life with her and she with you. she was so true to her family in so many ways. She had a dry wit that
could always get a laugh.
I know you will miss her but rejoice that she is whole and well with the Savoir.

With love and fond memories,
Sandra Foster Baker
