Mrs. Minnie Ferguson, 92, of Hamptonville, entered the pearly gates of Heaven on Friday, June 15, 2018.

Mrs. Ferguson was born on Tuesday, May 8, 1926 in Wilkes County to the late William Barnes and Nora Ann Hunt Barnes.

Mrs. Ferguson is preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Ferguson; brothers, Jessie, Monroe, Percy and Cicero Barnes; sisters, Mable Carlton, Macy Harris and grandsons.

Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Ferguson of Lenoir, Carol Neely, Effie Carlton both of Boomer, Janice Ferguson and Nora Ferguson both of Hamptonville; sons, James Ferguson of North Wilkesboro, Jerry Ferguson of Moravian Falls, Billy Ferguson of Hamptonville, Willard Ferguson of Yadkinville; sister, Maggie Barnes of Moravian Falls, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grand children and 4 great great grandchildren.

A private immediate family service will be held at a later date.
