Alice Marlene Starnes

            Alice Marlene Starnes, age 53, of Mt. Olive Church Road, Morganton, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020.

            Alice was born January 11, 1967 in Catawba County, the daughter of the late Edward Starnes and June Marlene Isenhour Willis.

            She was of the Christian faith and was a loving sister, aunt and friend.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Shirley June Starnes.

            Those left to cherish and honor her memory include: two sisters, Debra Starnes Morgan and husband, Ronnie, Joyce Starnes Hughes; four brothers, Billy Edward Starnes, Jeff Starnes and wife, Jackie, Dennis Starnes and wife, Cedona, Mark Starnes; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

            The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home. The family will have a private family service at a later date.
