Andrew (aka Poppie) Lee Fox

            Andrew Lee Fox Aka Poppie, age 41, of Taylorsville, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his residence.

            He was born September 12, 1980 in Catawba County, the son of Joie Lee Fox and Patrice Steele Fox.

            He enjoyed cooking, deer hunting and loved anything outdoors. He liked his music and TV shows. He loved his pit bulls and had a great sense of humor.

            He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Mary Helen Steele, Oscar Lee Fox, Carrie Oxentine Fox.

            Including his parents, those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his wife, Britton Metcalf; his daughter, Bailey Shelton; grandparent, Robert Steele of Bethlehem; sisters, Crystal “Maria” Lor (Vue) of Morganton, Victoria Scott (Zach) of Morganton; nieces, Marissa, Kinsley and Norah Lor, Eliza Scott; nephews, Silas Scott, Rogan Lor; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Smith will officiate.
