Mrs. Annie “Ruth” Higgins Wiles, 71, of Hays, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020.

Ruth was born on July 3, 1948 in Wilkes County to Clossie Jay Higgins and Eura Elizabeth Faw Higgins

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Kenneth Wiles; brothers, Robert, John and Willie Higgins; sisters, Maggie Johnson, Carrie Johnson, Laylar Johnson and Helen Key.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Melissa LeeAnn Higgins Royal (fiancé Garry Street) of Hays; sister, Dorothy Stanley (Don) of Hays; brother, Wayne Higgins (Jane) of Hays; grandchildren, Natasha Brown (Matt Walters), Zachary Elledge, Katelyn Higgins, all of Hays and great-grandchild, Raidyn Walters.

The family will conduct a private service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes, P.O. Box 396 Moravian Falls, NC 28654 to help with final expenses.
