Anthony Drake Villeda

Mr. Anthony Drake Villeda, 30, of R.E. Johnson Lane, Hiddenite NC, was born April 5, 1994, and departed this life to his Heavenly home on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Tenella O. Villeda; his maternal grandparents, Hardy Oxendine and Lorriane Martin; his parental grandparents, Antonio Villedas and Aurelia Medina; two cousins, Stanley Ratliff and Hardy Oxendine.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Elliot Villeda and his mother, Monica Godinez of Hiddenite, NC; his father, Vidal “Ricky” Villedas (Rosa) of Hickory, NC; two brothers, Patric Villeda (Maria) of Hickory, NC, Daniel Garcia of Hiddenite, NC; one special niece, Liliana Villeda; four nephews. Jacob Villeda, Javier Godinez, Lucas Godinez, Rafeal Cordona, all of Hiddenite, NC; eight uncles, Greg Oxendine (Sue) of Maton, NC, Floyd Oxendine (Pam) of Hiddenite, NC, Magdaleno Villedas (Evelia), Ausencio Villeda, Damasio Villedas (Eva), Silverio Villedas (Flabia), Cristino Villedas (Fidela), Ismael Villedas all of Mexico; seven aunts, Helen Sheppard of Maxton, NC, Sara Ratliff of Hiddenite, NC,  Lucia Villedas (Mauro), Modesto Villedas (Emilo), Perfecta Villedas, Gregoria Villedas (Emiliano), Francisca Villedas all of Mexico;  95 cousins; and a host of relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Carlos Rodrigez, Speaker Greg Oxendine, Speaker Marisol Reid will officiate. Burial will follow in the Carson Chapel Cemetery.

            The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home.

El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 2 p.m., el sábado 2 de noviembre de 2024, en la Capilla de la Funeraria Adams. Oficiarán el pastor Carlos Rodríguez, el presidente Greg Oxendine y la presidenta Marisol Reid. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio Carson Chapel.

La familia recibirá a sus amigos desde las 6 p.m. hasta las 8 p.m., el viernes 1 de noviembre de 2024 en la Funeraria Adams.
