Barbara Ann (Ruppard) Causey

            Barbara Ruppard Causey, age 76, of Conover, went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2023 due to a car accident. She was born in Caldwell County on November 2, 1946, the daughter of the late Jack D. Ruppard and Nellie K. Coffey.

            She was a woman of God, who loved helping others, always making people smile.

            Those left to cherish and honor her memories include: a brother, Jack Ruppard, Jr. of Taylorsville; two sisters, Dorothy “Tooter” Twilla of Conover, Deborah Honeycutt of Hiddenite; a daughter, Tonjua Hollar of Valdese; sons, Frankie Hollar, Kenneth Finger, Jr. (Melissa) of Boone, Quentin and Tara, of Boone; grandsons, Tyler Finger (Taylor) of Macon, GA, Michael Finger (Tommy) of Flint, Michigan, Dakota Finger (Macy) of Johnson City, TN, Isaiah Finger (Amanda) of Ashe County, NC; granddaughters, Lisa Hollar (Matthew) of Valdese, Kayla Finger of Valdese, Meilah Finger of Icard, Victoria Hollar; great-grandson, Christian Barnette of Valdese; great-granddaughter, Macyn Finger of Ashe Co., NC, Aaliyah Finger of Macon, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

            A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at a later date at her sister Dorothy’s house. Also, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Noon, Saturday, September 23, 2023, at New Vision Baptist Fellowship Church, 4858 Grace Chapel Road, Granite Falls, NC 28630.
