Barbara Elaine (Arrington) Eller

Mrs. Barbara Elaine Arrington Eller, 73, of North Wilkesboro, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at The Villages of Wilkes.

Barbara was born on October 28, 1947 in Haywood County to Carmen Way Arrington and Ruby Inez Conner Arrington.

Barbara was a member of the Purlear Baptist Church.  Barbara had a great sense of humor and could keep you laughing.  Barbara also enjoyed yard sales and thrift shopping, she also had a green thumb and enjoyed growing plants.   

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and Ruby Arrington; daughter, Shelia Ann Wingler Shumate; sisters, Evelyn Clark, Jean Patrick and 1 great grandchild.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Tammy Wingler and husband, Jonathan of Wilkesboro, Kristie Patterson and husband, Jamie also of Wilkesboro; son Danny Wingler and wife, Patricia of Lansing; sister, Dorothy Henson and husband, Allen of Waynesville; brother, Kenneth Arrington and wife, Dianne of Mooresville,  10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday October 24, 2021 at Purlear Baptist Church at 2:00-2:45 p.m.  The funeral service will take place on Sunday October 24, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Purlear Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  

Pastor Jamie McGuire will be officiating.
