Betty Eller Obituary

Betty “Robin” Johnson Eller, age 53, of Wilkesboro, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice in Dobson.

She was born September 14, 1971, in Iredell County, the daughter of the late James Ernest Johnson and Carolyn Joyce Barnette Johnson.

She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, watching Little House on the Prairie, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren. She left this earthly world with the Northern lights, with Bryan, her husband’s name being her last word.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her step-father, Glen Edward Johnson; four grandchildren, Dakota McGrady, Elizabeth McGrady, William McGrady, and David McGrady.

Those left to cherish and honor her memories include: her husband of 36 years, William “Bryan” Eller of the home; her daughters, Melinda “Mindy” Sue Eller (fiancé, David McGrady) of Yadkinville, Ciara Nichole Lusk (Timothy) of North Wilkesboro; her adopted daughter, Victoria Simpson of Mocksville; her brother, Duane “Scott” Johnson of Sherrills Ford; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, a God-daughter; special extended family, Brenda Hanson; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.
