Brenda (Pope) Miller

            Brenda Pope Miller, age 74, of Taylorsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Gordon Hospice House after an extended illness.

            Brenda was born August 13, 1950, in Catawba County, the daughter of the late R. D. Pope and Eunice Tevepaugh Pope.

            Brenda retired from Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was a member of The Purpose Church. She loved her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, Danny Pope and Jay Pope.

            Those left to cherish and honor Brenda’s memories include: her husband, David Miller of Taylorsville; three daughters, Teresa Smith (Mark), Tonya Stikeleather (Melvin), Tiffany Miller (Shea); her sister, Dianne Chapman (Seth); her step-son, Dwayne Miller (Donna), nine grandchildren, Alicia Parsons (Matt), Jason Smith (Jaclyn), Elijah Parsons, Makayla Parsons, Keiora Parsons, Dylan Miller (Ariana), Ashanti Parsons, Jared Miller (Kenna), Jordan Bailey (Zeek); 12 great-grandchildren; special cousin, Inez Honeycutt; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Todd Simerly and Pastor Dave Sarver will officiate. Inurnment will be with the family.

            The family will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. prior to the service.
