Carole Ann (Rappa) Southard

            Carole Ann Rappa Southard, age 72, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at her home. She was born April 10, 1952 in Queens, New York, the daughter of Neil Rappa and the late Anna Tassiello Rappa.

            Carole worked in the medical field as an LPN and also as a real estate agent. She attended Grace Chapel. She enjoyed crafting, painting, crocheting hats for the homeless, dancing, cooking everything, scrap booking, enjoyed anything to do with fashion. She liked having fun and was a free spirit.

            Including her father, those left to cherish and honor her memories include: her husband, Joseph Southard of the home; her daughters, Jo Ana Southard Duffy (Mike), Sara Southard; her son, Joseph Southard (Samantha); her grandchildren, Christian Southard, Evelynn Duffy, Jameson Duffy, Elaina Southard; her sisters, Jean Rappa Mangano, Antoinette Soderberg; her brothers, Benny Rappa, Frank Rappa; her dog, Tucker; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

            There will be a gathering of friends on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 2p.m. until 4 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home.
