Charles Bryan Marsh (Wilkes)

Mr. Charles “Chuck” Bryan Marsh, 54, of Boomer, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Hospital.

Charles was born Monday, March 9, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Fred Riley Marsh and Alma Mae Blevins Marsh.

Charles had retired from teaching. He was an IT Instructor for Ashe and Wilkes Community Colleges. Charles liked working on computers and video games. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: sisters, Patsy Smallwood and Joyce Graham; and a brother, Leon Marsh.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife of 35 years, Rose Marsh; daughters, Erin Greer and husband, Jerry, of Boomer, Crystal Pruitt and husband, Joshua, of Boomer, Brittany Farmer and husband, Darrin, of Bunn, NC, Amanda Marsh of Boomer; sons, CJ Marsh of North Wilkesboro, Timothy Marsh of Boomer, Phillip Marsh of Boomer; sisters, June James of Virginia, Irma Doss of Maryland; brother, Jerry Marsh and wife, Mary Helen, of Virginia; grandchildren, Logan Prevette, Angel Greer, Candy Pruitt, Cora Pruitt, Travis Pruitt, all of Boomer and Allison Farmer of Bunn, NC.; along with many Nieces and Nephews.

The family is to conduct a Memorial service Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Crossfire United Methodist Church. Pastors Duncan Overrein, David White and Jerry Marsh.
