Charles "Rock" Shook

            Charles “Rock” Shook, age 67, of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at his home.

            He was born April 16, 1954 in Catawba County, the son of the late Ralph Shook and Jennie Hedrick Shook.

            He worked in the furniture industry for most of his working career. He was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He was a man that loved his family, especially the grandchildren.

            Those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his wife, Peggy S. Shook of the home; his daughter, Amy Wood of Taylorsville; his son, Charles “Little Rock” Shook (Tracy) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Mariah Brown (Trevor) of Raeford, NC, Tyler Shook (Becky), Casey Shook (Ceshia) all of Taylorsville; great-grandchildren, Colson Shook, Tyler Shook, Jr.; his brothers, Jerry Shook (Debbie) of Connolly Springs, Steven Shook of Newton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
