Chris Rix

            Chris Rix, age 57, of Granite Falls, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

            Chris was born October 10, 1967, in Middletown, NY, the son of the late Albert Karl Rix and Maria Lanser Rix.

            Being a personal trainer was his passion in life. Chris enjoyed helping people become the best version of themselves. He loved his car, his orange Mustang, and taking care of his land and his beloved horse Foxy.

            Those left to cherish and honor Chris’s memories include: his daughter, Madelyn Kristina Rix of Granite Falls and a grandson on the way; his sisters, Jeanette Rix, Susan Rix Kowalczik both of Middletown, NY.

            A Service in honor of Chris’s Life will be held at Noon, Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bill Orren will officiate. Inurnment will be with the family.

            The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until Noon prior to the service.

            Donations may be made to keep his gym open and running and or to help support his future grandson on the way, in care of Madelyn Rix, 2592 Howard Austin Road, Granite Falls, NC 28630.
