Clyde James Beach

            Clyde James Beach, age 84, of Stony Point, entered his heavenly home on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Valley Nursing Center.

            Clyde was born March 30, 1940 in Alexander County, the son of the late Prater Beach and Ethel Bowman Beach.         

            Clyde worked in the furniture industry for most of his working career. He was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He loved camping, hunting, and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

            Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Geraldine “Deannie” D. Beach; his brothers, Elmore Beach, Jim Beach, and JaVon Beach.

Those left to cherish and honor his memories include: his daughter, Sonya Allen (Dale) of Hiddenite; his son, Michael Beach (Belinda) of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Kandace Allen and fiancé, Andrew Schronce, Kallie Travis (Spencer), Kaine Allen, Ashley Cazire (Ryan); his great-grandchildren, Zayden, Lawtyn, Stetson; his sister, Dorothy “Dot” Burke; and many special loved ones and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2024 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Stony Point. Pastor Wesley Hammer and Pastor Taylor Miller will officiate.
