Connie Jolly

            Connie Mae Jolly, age 77, of Taylorsville, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the The Greens of Hickory.

            Connie was born May 19, 1947, the daughter of the late Walter Lafeyette Jolly and Edna Warren Jolly.

            During her working career, she was a supervisor for Carolina Glove and a member of Millersville Baptist Church, where she enjoyed Sunday school. She enjoyed shopping, swimming at the lake, and was a good person, who cared about people. She loved her nephew, Michael.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her life-long friend, Grady Walker.

Those left to cherish and honor her memories include: her brother, Gary E. Jolly (Sandra) of Taylorsville; her nephew, Michael Jolly; special cousin, Wanda Starnes; best friends, Karen Little, Renaye Adams, Cherry Barber, Brenda Hartness, Shelia Ellis; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, September 23, 2024 at Millersville Baptist Church. Rev. Bill Orren and Rev. Brian Kerley will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
