Craig A. Summers, Sr.

            Craig A. Summers, Sr., age 51, of Taylorsville, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his home.

            Craig was born February 23, 1973, in Iredell County, the son of Roy Phillips and Hazel Mae Summers.

            Craig worked for Paragon Films as a fork lift operator. He previously worked for JC Penny for 22 years. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and nature. Craig loved spending time with his family, especially going to the YMCA with CJ.

            Including his parents, those left to cherish Craig’s memories include: his wife, Adrian Hayes of the home; his daughters, Rakiah Summers of the home, Rachel Morrison of Statesville; his sons, Craig “CJ” Anthony Summers, Jr., Malik Summers both of the home; Nicholas Carruth of Statesville; his brothers, Cameron Summers, Timothy Allison.

            A private service will be held February 11, 2025 with Rev. Sterling Howard officiating.
