Dalton Ray Townsend

            Dalton Ray Townsend, age 26, of Taylorsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at his home following a lengthy illness.

            Dalton was born December 7, 1998 in Burke County, the son of John Harrison and Catina Townsend.

            Dalton enjoyed working on cars and trucks. He loved spending time with his family and riding motorcycles.

            He was preceded in death by: his grandfathers, Roland Townsend and Johnny Harrison.

            Including his parents, those left to cherish and honor Dalton’s memories include: his sister, Tiffany Townsend of Taylorsville; his brothers, Isaac Daves of Burke County, Skyler Jones of Alexander County; his grandmothers, Mary June York, Kathy Townsend; special cousin who was like a brother, Dylan Townsend; two nieces, Nevaeh Jones, Mallory Jones; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved him.

            The family will conduct a Memorial Service at a later date. He was very loved and will be missed dearly.
