David J. Orlandi

            David J. Orlandi, age 87, of Hickory, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at his home.

            David was born August 16, 1937, in Jerome, Pennsylvania, the son of the late James Orlandi and Totina Bassetti Orlandi.

            David worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass for 30 years and was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid golfer and a member of Brushy Mountain Golf Club. He loved to play the accordion, spent his retirement years playing for nursing homes.

            Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Margaret Kuncher Orlandi; his son, David Alan Orlandi; his sisters, Victoria Koval, Virgina Hedberg.

            Those left to cherish and honor David’s memories include: his daughter, Debbie DuBois (Kenny) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Michelle Hall, Ron Myers both of Hickory; his great-grandchildren, Angel Myers, Destiny Queen, Taylor Hall, Dylan Nall, Kaleb Myers; his great-great-grandchildren, Emory Ballentine, Hadley Ballentine.
