David Ray Reed

Mr. David Ray Reed,59, of Moravian Falls passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at his home.

David was born on October 5, 1964 in Surry County to Dewey Franklin Reed and Perchie Mae Macemore Reed.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, listening to music and working on cars. 

David is preceded in death by parents; sisters, Wanda Kay Royal and Rita Faye White.

David is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lisa Minton Reed of the home; daughters, Jennifer Reed of the home, Crystal Reed of Union Grove; sister, Hilda Brewer of Thurmond; brother, Dewey Reed and wife, Sarah of Jonesville; grandchildren, Kaylynne Reed, Daylin Reed, Michael Reed, Colbie Moore, Zeb Davidson; nieces and nephews, Kristie Brown, Stacey Royal, Mandy Harbinson, Brittney Billings, James Brewer Justin Reed

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2024 in the Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel in Moravian Falls, 2109 Moravian Falls Road, Moravian Falls, NC 28654.  A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024 in the Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel in Moravian Falls. 

Pastor Danny Royal will be officiating.
