Earl Dean Combs

Mr. Earl Dean Combs, 78, of North Wilkesboro, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Accordius at Wilkesboro. 

Earl was born on April 2, 1943 in Wilkes County to Robert Woodley Combs and Lura Victoria Gregory Combs.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Virgil C. “Buddy” Combs, Eugene Combs, Carl Combs; sisters, Grace Johnson, Mildred Brooks, Irene Combs, Carol Ann Brewer   

Earl is survived by his significant other, Viola Lane; daughter, Leslie Garland of Boone; son, Russell Combs of Wilkesboro; step sons, Larry Pardue of Wilkesboro, Gary Pardue of North Wilkesboro; sisters, Berchie Atwood of Morganton, Mary Brown of Lenoir; brothers, Fred Combs of Hays, Dale Combs also of Hays, Lester Combs of Summerfield; 3 grandchildren, Brittney Matheson, Josh Matheson and wife, Taylor, Lacie Minton; 2 great grandchildren, Brandon and Alissa Fritts. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Moravian Falls.  Pastor Matthew Cranford will be officating.
