Ms. Edith Irene Maynor Elder, age 66, of Taylorsville, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020.
Edith was born March 20, 1954 in Robeson County, the daughter of the late Belton Maynor and Gener Lowery Maynor.
She had worked in the textile industry and loved fishing at the beach. She loved her mother, father and family and enjoyed watching westerns.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: brothers, Charles, Quincy and Roy Maynor.
Those left to cherish her memory include: a son, William Gabriel Elder of Taylorsville; two daughters, Latosha Elder Smith and husband, Wes, of Hiddenite, Ghenoa Elder of Taylorsville; grandchildren, William Cody Elder, Maleah Brooklyn Elder, Jeremiah Kole Elder, Shyanne Smith, Savanna Bell Smith, Wyatt Smith, Tommy Lee Jackson III, Avery Ray Belton Jackson, Levi Thomas Mayberry, Mary Katherine Mayberry; a great-grandchild, Clarisa Elder; sisters, Janice Graham and husband, Council, Donna Kay Fletcher and husband, David; brothers, Quniton, Delton and Ralph Maynor.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.
