Emo Fox Bebber, age 91, of Taylorsville, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Carolina Caring in Newton.
Emo was born June 26, 1933, in Alexander County, the daughter of the late Jason Andrew Fox and Bessie Bowman Fox.
Emo retired from Sherrill Furniture, and then enjoyed being a greeter at Wal-Mart for 13 years. She was a life-long member of Friendship Lutheran Church. She loved tending to her flowers. She was a good cook, loved to cross-stitch, and enjoyed canning and sewing. But her greatest love was her family.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband of 72 years, Bennie Bebber; her sister, Mabel White; her brothers, Odell Fox, Wade Fox, Roscoe Fox, Paul Fox.
Those left to cherish and honor Emo’s memories include: her son, Ricky Bebber (Linda) of Taylorsville; her daughter, Nancy Deal (Davey) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Allison Clonch (Thomas), Brandon Deal (Larissa), Misty Sweet (Andre), Shaun Bebber (Alisha); her great-grandchildren, Paige Deal, Morgan Clonch, Madison Sweet, Emilie Sweet, Kyler Bebber, Adalyn Bebber; special niece, Millie King (Ken).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2025, at Friendship Lutheran Church. Pastor Josh Tucker will officiate. Inurnment will be at the Taylorsville City Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. prior to the service.
