Ethan Logan DeJarnette

Ethan Logan DeJarnette, age 24, of Hiddenite, went to meet Jesus with his big, beautiful smile on November 29, 2024.  Ethan was born on March 2, 2000, and he was the son of Bill and Alisa DeJarnette. Ethan was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, and friend.  Ethan loved to go hunting, fishing, singing, and playing video games and BINGO. Ethan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Ethan was preceded in death by his grandfather Larry Daniels, and William Edward DeJarnette JR and grandmother, Patsy DeJarnette.

Those who are left to cherish his memories are his parents, Bill and Alisa DeJarnette, sister Kayla DeJarnette Gibson (Matthew) of Statesville, brother Garison DeJarnette (Bailey Kruse) of Raleigh, and sister Abigail DeJarnette (Ryan Fox) of Granite Falls. His grandmother Evelyn Daniels of Hiddenite. His aunts Amy DeJarnette Edwards (Brad) of Hickory, Krissy Daniels Purser (Josh) of Sugar Loaf, and Uncle Brian DeJarnette (Tara) of Hiddenite. His cousins Kelsea DeJarnette (Hunter Braswell), Kolton DeJarnette, Cassi Edwards, James Edwards and Ellie Purser; and number of friends. 

The Family will be having a Celebration of Life at Hiddenite Baptist Church on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 2 p.m. Pastor Jesse Bowles and Zach Deal will officiate. Burial will follow in the South River United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Garison DeJarnette, Josh Purser, Matthew Gibson, James Edwards, Kolton DeJarnette, Ryan Fox, Hunter Braswell.
