Etta Elaine Barker

            Etta Elaine Barker, age 63, of Granite Falls, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Brian Center in Hickory.

            Etta was born June 24, 1958 in Alexander County, the daughter of the late Charlie Wesley Keller and Hazel Fox Keller.

            She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Taylorsville. She was a lady that had lots of faith and love for Jesus. She enjoyed doing hair and makeup with her granddaughters. She loved doing her puzzle books and listening to the radio.

            Those left to cherish and honor her memory include: her son, Larry Richard Barker (Karima), of Granite Falls; her step-son, Kenneth Barker (Von) of Hampstead, NC; her step-daughter, Teresa Long (Rick) of Catawba County; her grandchildren, Laurel, Trinity, and Elowyn all of Granite Falls; her sister, Connie Crawford (Rick) of Taylorsville; her brothers, Herman Keller (Edith) of Taylorsville, Richard Keller (Myrtle) of Cleveland, NC, Jim Fox of Iredell County; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

            The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, July 9, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Revs. Allen Fox and Mike Cothrene will officiate. Burial will follow in the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.

            The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
