Evelyn Corinne (Stone) Cass

Mrs. Evelyn Corinne Stone Cass, 89, of Wilkesboro, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Accordius at Wilkesboro.

Evelyn was born on April 17, 1933 in Wilkes County to Charles Shelton Stone Sr. and Louise Sarah Johnston Stone.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Anthony Eugene Johnson and brother, Charles Shelton Stone Jr. 

Evelyn is survived by her son, Johnnie Brown and wife, Linda of North Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Jeffery and Scott Brown; great grandchildren, Justin Brown, Ashley Brown Royal and husband, Justin; great great grandchildren, Colton Royal, Connor Royal, Jaxon Brown and Bryson Brown, all of North Wilkesboro. 

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Edgewood Baptist Church.   Rev. Lloyd Payne and Speaker Michael Brinegar will be officiating.
