Francis "Frank" Hanna

            Mr. Francis “Frank” Hanna, 81, of Hickory, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at Frye Regional Medical Center.

            Mr. Hanna was born May 1, 1938 in York, PA, the son of the late Lloyd Hanna and Mabel Ann Doyle Hanna.

            He was a US Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith. He had worked for Royal Comfort Seating and also Alexander County Convenience Centers. Frank enjoyed fishing and watching his grand-girl Alli play ball. He loved to garden and he especially loved his dogs, Jake, Butch and Smiley. 

            Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Margaret Ann Queen Hanna; a daughter, Michele Hanna Price; two sisters, and four brothers.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his granddaughter, Allison “Alli” Price of Taylorsville; four brothers, James Hanna of SC, Gene Hanna of GA, Marlet Hanna of PA, Johnnie Hanna of WV; special family friends, Tina and Jay Frye of Conover.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Taylor Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Hwy 16 South, Taylorsville with full military honors accorded by DAV Chapter 84 of Taylorville and 6 of Hudson.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Adams Funeral Home.
